Beatriz (“Betty”) Esperanca Ribeiro (b. 22 August 1917, Kowloon). Betty is the daughter of Laura Maria Soares Ribeiro and David Jose Maria Fernandes.
She married George James WHITE on 29 March 1936 at Rosary Church, Kowloon. George was born in Foochow, China on 14 July 1911, the son of George Sinclair White and Dorothy Perreira. George died in Southampton on 22 December 1996.
